Annie is a 7th grader at St. Simon and Jude Catholic School in North Phoenix, Arizona. She is 13 years old and one of the sweetest girls in our local program. Annie is the happiest when her life is enriched by traveling and spending time with her family. She is an only child but has 3 cats and 2 dogs that are so important to her and her family!

Annie is a strong member and active participant of Girls Golf of Phoenix. She has been playing with Girls Golf since she was 5! She also plays competitively in our state association, JGAA as well as US Kids and PGA Junior League. Annie was empowered by being awarded our AZ State Golf Association {JGAA} “Junior Sportsmanship Award” in 2017. Golf is an important part of her life and she was so happy her dad had her engaged with it at a young age. They still love to play together!

When she isn’t on the golf course, she empowers herself with involvement in school activities, Honors Choir, Volleyball and Piano. Annie is also an active volunteer for Feed My Starving Children, St. Vincent Dupal, school fundraisers and a school based ambassador program. Earlier this year {2018}, Annie participated in an extracurricular competition with Honeywell: “The Honeywell Fiesta Bowl Aero Space Challenge”. Annie and her team set a goal, worked together and presented a project that they were all very proud of. The team didn’t win but Annie contributed to the group and empowered and encouraged the other members. Annie is a leader and she was pleased with this accomplishment.

Annie has a unique love for the arts…. She likes art that is based around science and craft projects but more importantly she has a love for the art of music. She has been taking piano lessons since she was six and appreciates classical music. Annie told me that one of her favorite travel experiences {with her family – that makes her the happiest} happened last summer with a trip to Rome. Annie got to visit the Vatican and Sistine Chapel where a whole new respect for art and history was established.

Annie is an old soul. She values family, she loves classical music and traveling. She is respectful and courteous to others. Annie is a mentor, leader and guide to younger Girls Golf Members. I am thrilled to have Annie as an important part of our Girls Golf Family and I know that she would be honored to “Walk with Sandra” as an ambassador, leader and representative of the LPGA*USGA Girls Golf of Phoenix.

“I meet Stacy Lewis when she won the Founder’s Cup and become #1 in the world! Girls Golf of Phoenix has given me the opportunity to meet so many amazing golfers with so many opportunities that empower me to work hard and love the game even more! Thank You! I hope to spend time with Sandra”
