Sandra Gal hosted the inaugural Sandra Gal Charity Challenge Pro-Am on November 21st at the Concession Golf Club in Bradenton, Fla., and raised over $40,000 in the first year.

The two-year qualification process for golf’s return to the Olympic Games for the first time in 112 years has been completed with the publication today of the Final Olympic Golf Rankings.




 

I’m not underestimating the role that luck has played in my career and in particular, in helping me to play in this summer’s Olympic Games. Part of my good fortune is that I was born in Germany, where there are relatively fewer professional golfers, which means I have a better chance of qualification, compared to other players who are just as good as me but who face a tougher path to Rio.

Why do female professional golfers make pennies on the dollar compared to their male counterparts, and not the usual, if still troubling, $.78 on the dollar that women earn across other professions?



 

The LPGA debuted two new brand campaign spots this week on Golf Channel during the season-opening Pure Silk-Bahamas LPGA Classic.  The two spots, entitled Mentors and Raising the Bar 2.0, are part of the LPGA’s long-running ad campaign and will air regularly this season during the Tour’s telecasts.


 

Sandra Gal is a German-born LPGA Tour player who played collegiate golf at the University of Florida and has one professional victory.




 

Sandra Gal is one of the most known players on the LPGA Tour not only for her talent on the course but also for being a fan-friendly golfer. Gal is one of the players on tour that embraces the Little Girls, Big Dreams program and every tournament takes a girl inside the ropes to walk 18 holes with her.
