Q.  Very good follow‑up to your first round.  What's your thoughts?

SANDRA GAL:  You know, I just really, really hung in there today.  I didn't hit a lot of greens.  I made up‑and‑down from everywhere and then I was lucky to roll in a few longer putts and I just stuck it out till the end.  I had to chip out on 18 and I hit a nice little pitch shot close.  That's about how my game was all day.

Q. Sandra, you probably went the wrong way compared to where you thought you should go, and now you've got a little bit of ground to catch up. Assess your round and what's your chances heading into tomorrow?

SANDRA GAL: You know, actually overall I don't think it's that bad of a round. The conditions were really tough out there, and I thought some of the tee boxes and pin positions were as well.

It's great if it brings attention to our tour. We're attractive, and we can play.

Sandra Gal, winner of the 2011 Kia Classic, says to improve impact with your driver, move the ball up in your stance parallel with your front foot. Take 5 or 6 swings in this position and get the feel of solid impact. Move the ball back to the proper position and start hitting solid drives.
