Lauren

Lauren is 12 years old and in 7th grade at Arete Prep Academy in Gilbert, Arizona. She is a positive and ENERGETIC only child but has two special miniature schnauzers (Walter and Oliver). She is ENGAGED, active and committed to the school swim team, her love of golf, reading and music. She ENERGIZES herself with a love for the movies, especially Star Wars.

 

Lauren is an outstanding student who has an academic history ENRICHED with successes. has always been a straight ‘A’ student and takes her education very seriously. Last year she earned the Sapientia Award at school for demonstrating a commitment to excellence, the intellectual ideals of the academy and an authentic love of learning. Previously, she was EMPOWERED as one of two girls in her grade to earn an award of high honors in French. Lauren also has a special love for art! She enjoys trips to the art museums and plans to attend a local High School that is well known for their Arts program!

 

As a ENGAGED leader in Girls Scouts, her troop has given back much to the community including book, coat and blanket drives, volunteering at Feed My Starving Children, collecting hospital toy donations and more. She has earned both the Bronze award, for creating overnight bags for foster children and the Silver award, for partnering with a no-kill cat shelter to create much needed climbing equipment for their animals. She always strives to participate, help, volunteer and go above and beyond. She also a member of the San Tan chapter of National Charity League which is a mother/daughter organization. With this group, she is ENGAGING with family and events where she volunteers a minimum of 20 hours a year in the community and additional hours with the chapter in an administrative role.

 

Lauren and her family are active and an ENERGIZING component of our local Girls Golf chapter. They pay attention, they actively participate, they go above and beyond to create a family experience for themselves and the other girls in our program. I am thrilled to have Lauren as an important part of our Girls Golf Family and I know that she would be honored to “Walk with Sandra” as an ambassador, leader and representative of the LPGA*USGA Girls Golf of Phoenix.
